                F. Ruzicka, SCD | Materials Needed: • Crafter's Pick™ "The
        Ultimate" glue
         • Cornstarch
         • DecoArt Heavenly Hues: Hunter Green, Patina
        Green, Earth Brown
         • Rusty tin box by DCC
         • Loew-Cornel brush: American painter 4300
        shader #6 sea sponge
         • DecoArt Matt Spray
         .
         General Project Instructions:
1: In plastic bowl,  mix 4 teaspoons of corn
starch and 3 teaspoons of Crafter's Pick™ "The
Ultimate" glue.  Stir mixture with a spoon.  When it
becomes "crumbly" put the mixture in your hands and knead
until nice and smooth. If it becomes to sticky,  add more
cornstarch.  If to dry add more Crafter's Pick™ "The
        Ultimate" glue.
2: To make the grapes: Make small balls of
the "Glue Clay ©"about 1/4" in diameter.  I
like to make some small than others to give it a realistic look.  Place
the "clay balls" on a paper plate to dry.
To make the leaves: Flatten a clay ball
into a leaf.  Place on paper plate to dry.  Let the grapes and
leaves dry overnight. When dry they will have a porcelain look to them.
3: Clean the tin box with vinegar and rag prior
        to to decorating it.
HINT: Prepare metal or plastic surfaces by
wiping off grease or oils with a vinegar soaked rag and allow to dry.
Once cleaned use the Crafter's Pick™ "The
Ultimate" glue to glue the leaves on to the tin box.  Also
glue on the "glue balls" into a grape cluster. NOTE: Only
use Crafter's Pick™ "The Ultimate" gluebecause it
will bond to metal and plastic while other glues won't do the job.
4: Use the #6 shader to paint on a light wash of
the misty mauve to the grapes.  Add a little purple wash to some
and some leave a little white showing.  They will look like
        porcelain when dry.
Paint the leaves with the Heavenly Hues Hunter
Green and the Patina Green.  Shade the grapes and leaves with Earth
Brown.  Add a little metallic gold to the leaves and just a little
onto the grapes.  When dry,  spray with matte spray.
5: To paint the bottom of the tin box: Use
the sea sponge to randomly apply Hunter Green.  When dry randomly
sponge on metallic gold.  When dry,  spray with a matte spray.
