BATIK - EZ PURSES with Crafter's Pick "Fabric Stiffener" by .Delores F. Ruzicka, SCD

Materials Needed:

• Crafter's Pick Batik EZ
• Washable Fabric as required by purse pattern
• Fabric Paints (DecoArt) or dyes
• Brush, foam or regular
• Chunky foam stamps or your choice
• Purse Pattern of your choice

General Instructions:

1. Pour a puddle of Batik EZ onto a tray or palette; thin with a little water if necessary for easier application.

2. Use a brush to apply Batik EZ to the stamp. Press the stamp onto the fabric. Repeat, each time reapply Batik EZ to the stamp. Let dry.

3. Paint the fabric using fabric paints or dyes according to manufacturer's instructions. Paint may be sponged, sprayed or brushed. Let dry.

4. Wash fabric to create a lovely batik effect.

5. Use the purse pattern and instructions of your choice to create a "one of a kind" purse

 

General Glue Instructions: • Always test first for best appearance and results • Work with materials and glue above 60°F. • Apply glue and allow to dry 24 hours in warm room. For interior use. Clean up: Use warm water and detergent.
